Wanted: Vans Chukka Low

Saw these at the store, I liked them. Tried them on, I loved them. They’re really room and perfect for taking out for a skate or just for walking around in.  Come mid-June, I will have a pair of these in my closet, if not, on my feet.

My To-Do List UPDATE

I can now cross one of the things on my to-do list! Refer back to the first thing I put on my to-do list. It was to watch the Japanese horror film Suicide Club (Jisatsu Sākuru, directed by Sion Sono). Here’s the trailer:

It was pretty crazy and I would recommend it to anyone who like a good suspense film and a strong stomach.

Another thing that I can proudly cross off my list is Have a House Party!  Although I didnt post it on this blog, it has been on my mental to-do list for ages. Huzzah!

iPTUSBWTFOMG!

So I finally got the iPTUSB, or the Ion Portable USB Turntable (Remember? If not, check this post!).  I came home from work this morning and I saw it sitting on the dining room table!

Those who follow me on twitter know that I’ve been archiving since noon. This truly works wonders. I recommend it for anyone who doesnt want their record collection to waste away in a damp basement or closet.  The best thing about is that it comes with Audacity software that you can use to cut out that white noise from your recordings AND it automatically uploads to your iTunes library.

Seriously, this contraption is amazing. Get it right now.

I’m back. UPDATE!

I’ve come back from a three week hiatus (really, is this new?) Since I’ve been gone from the bloggo a lot has happened.  I finished all of my final projects and final exams and divorced school (until August, that is).  I’m pretty happy with the results.  Can anyone say 4.0 gpa??! Yup, I got a 4.0 gpa this semester.  I have also earned BRAGGING RIGHTS!

OK, enough about school. I’m back to working full time at work, seven hours a day, Monday through Saturday.  I feel like I have no life now.  Life should be an equal balance of work and play, consumption and leisure.  But really, is that even possible in a capitalist economy?

Anyways, I digress.

Besides school and work and not having a life, nothing huge has happened.
