Stunning Mid-century Photography

SatSpot

Enter Vivian Maier.  The French street photographer from New York would have been seen on the streets of Chicago, sporting a Rolleiflex twin-lens reflex camera, taking pictures of everything around her, sometime between 1950 and 1970.  Little is known about her, except that she had a talent for capturing life at its finest moments.

I would like to learn more about her, and after seeing her shots, I’m pretty sure you will too.  If you are interested, the Chicago Cultural Center is holding a one-woman exhibition, “Finding Vivian Maier: Chicago Street Photographer”. This has definitely made my to-do list.
