Wanted, Bought, Has.

Remember those SkullCandy + Paul Frank headphones I recently blogged about? Well, I just copped them. It was only a matter of time. And I gotta say, they are phenomenal. It has been a long time since listening to music gave me chills.  First song I listened to? The Prodigy’s “Invaders Must Die” (see previous post).  Awesome. I highly recommend these or any Hesh model of SkullCandy phones.

It’s Saturday and for once, I’m bloggin. That only means one thing: Saturday Spotlight!
I had a song on repeat in my head all day today. And I know this sounds like something that should be on Miercoles de Musica (Music Wednesday), or even Friday Favorite, but I just had to put it out there some way or another. Have a listen:

This may sound familiar to you. The first I heard it was in the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World trailer and I had to know what it was. A couple minutes later, I found myself fist pumping to the song’s sick beats. Unbelievable how great this is. Hope you like it as much as I do.

If you haven’t heard already, the FIFA World Cup is going, and has been going on since last Friday. I gotta say, I’m still a little too excited for this, like I was for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, only this is futbol! Go watch your country play! Need. Structure. NOW! [To-Do List]

…and I’m sick of it. These days you can find me at home eating, sleeping, or eating then sleeping. Sup with that?

I need a little structure in my life, so I came up with a to-do list for the summer. It’s just a little something to look forward to and to be a little organized.

• Party! It’s summer!
• Try to attend as many Chicago fests as possible. Yes, this includes the Taste of Chicago!
• Go to Six Flags at least once.
• Go to at least one water park (Hurricane Harbor doesn’t count).
• Attend one Movies in the Parks
• Go yard sale hopping
• Attend a carnival
• Attend a fair (Milwaukee Fair!)
• Go strawberry picking
• Go to the beach with friends
• I still have yet to go to a Sox game this season, so that will be on the list.
• Do some more kite flying
• Have a picnic

There’s more stuff I want to do, but that’s all I can think of right now. I will update this soooooooooon!
